| The Barberis family first became involved in winemaking during the 1960s when Don Humberto Barberis purchased vineyards in the Santa Rosa region of Mendoza. After years of selling grapes to other wineries, he and his children purchased their own winery in 1989. Today, the children of Don Humberto carry on this family tradition and continue to produce internationally recognized wines. Adrian Barberis is the oldest son and started working in the family business in 1982. In 1989 he spearheaded comprehensive renovations of the winery in order to produce even higher quality wine. Success followed but the most important for Adrian is to carry on the family dream of owning a winery together with his siblings. |
